I know this is horrible and don't think they deserve to be discriminated against, but I find transgenderism absolutely repulsive and feel very uncomfortable when such people are anywhere near me.  I'm really disappointed in myself about this because intellectually I know that it's not a choice and that they're not bad for being transgender, but that's one area where I'm a rather prejudiced man (albeit one who is actively trying to overcome his transphobia).  Atlas has actually been really helpful in the sense that talking to some of the transgender folks here has, at an intellectual level, sort of normalized for me the idea that transgender individuals are no different than anyone else.  However, the instinctive, irrational emotional reaction of discomfort and disgust when actually seeing them is still pretty strong.  I honestly think some of this is because until college my only exposure to transgender people was Tim Curry's performance in Rocky Horror Picture Show which I found incredibly disturbing.  Hell, I still sometimes confuse transvestism with transgenderism.  Btw, hopefully this post doesn't offend anyone here as that's certainly not my intent; this isn't something I'm proud of by any means

Yeah I'm extremely interested in TexArkana's hard drive right now.
I have never, and would never, watch anything sexual involving anyone under the age of 18. I'm not attracted to children in any way either, as I like, shall we say, well developed women 😏

...And Palpatine loved the Republic and Democracy.

Trust me, if you look through my hard drive all you'll find is hours and hours worth of VERY well-developed women banging.

So men today brag about the amount of porn they watch?

I'm not bragging.

It sure sounded like you were.

Also I'm surprised it took 13 pages for this thread to lead to something truly horrifying.

How dare those dastardly Jews make a home where they can be safe from persecution and worst of all, on land that they have a far stronger claim to than any other group in human history Roll Eyes

Empire Strikes Back was great and New Hope was good for a watch, but otherwise I agree.

-Mayonnaise is the most revolting condiment in existence

Amen.  If the Dutch really do dip their fries in it, they are disgusting.

Fries with Mayonnaise are good

Yep, no better way to eat them imo.

Sure, that's an issue to consider. I'm just saying that, at least to me, it's strange to see people get all emotional, riled up and crazy about ending the death penalty, only to be pacified at the thought of the same criminals instead rotting in a cell until they are thoroughly broken. It makes no sense to me. If the death penalty is barbaric, then life imprisonment should be worse. Where are the picket lines for juveniles and adults alike falling apart in solitary for months on end?

As far as I am concerned, this is like refusing to eat beef because it's cruel to cattle only to later gorge yourself on chicken.

I don't oppose the death penalty because it's cruel, I oppose it because it's a waste of money compared to LWOP and because there's the possibility of wrongly executing innocent people (who obviously then have no legal recourse).

House of Cards was a mediocre series, artificially propped by the media hype. It did start off promisingly, but inevitably turned into a total crap. Even our blandest posters know more about how political process really works than the show's writers.

I’d argue that even the first season was crap, but Corey Stoll gave such a phenomenal performance that he elevated the series and that after he was gone, the flaws which were always there simply became more obvious.
