Funny, when I think of "80s music" I only think of Rites of Spring, The Hated, Moss Icon, Husker Du and the Replacements.

That's because you're BRTD. Everyone else remembers Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Duran Duran and Bobby Brown.

Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson (late 1980's), Irene Cara (early 80's).  You can probably throw in Huey Lewis and the News and assorted tencho songs.

Teenage pregnancy was happening in the 1970's, so that comment was just silly.

Regular cocaine was much more prevalent than crack.
