Funny, when I think of "80s music" I only think of Rites of Spring, The Hated, Moss Icon, Husker Du and the Replacements.

Also guys, I think Naso might just be trolling us at this point. This really is too good to be true.

That's because you're BRTD. Everyone else remembers Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Duran Duran and Bobby Brown.

Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson (late 1980's), Irene Cara (early 80's).  You can probably throw in Huey Lewis and the News and assorted tencho songs.

Teenage pregnancy was happening in the 1970's, so that comment was just silly.

Regular cocaine was much more prevalent than crack.

F**k yeah. Now I have to get my Husker Du and The Replacements records now. I will check Rites of Spring and surprising so since I enjoy alt/punk music.

That doesn't decrease the quality of the work. The Mona Lisa was clearly a parody.

That's a load of BS.

If either Carter or Mondale were President dfuring the 80s, Naso would hate this decade.

Who is your favorite 1980's band? I love the The Cure, R.E.M, Dead Kennedy's, Minor Threat, and tons of alt rock/punk that define the 1980's. The worst bands have to be Posion and all the other greddy Reagan loving bands that seem to come to mind when most people think of the 1980's. I love Metallica and Iron Maiden but will never come to enjoy any of this hair sh**t that 80's lovers seem to enjoy. The critics agree with me and that telling me something. I have to admit some pop songs such as "Your the best" and Obsession were tha s**tnutz.

So true.

I personally am sick of hearing both 80's and modern pop on my mom's morning radio show, so I can't sympathize with ya there. I take my music from the Johnson/Nixon era mostly. Also, I tend to like the hot girls in my class to stay that way.  Just a few comments as I can't think of more right now, but in sure I have some.

Really? 80's pop? Really? I tend to dislike pop in general, but you have to choose the 80's? Faked drums, faked strings, & the decade I blame for the keyboard being reduced into merely something to imitate other instruments.
Everything this kid just said, and more.

The synth guitar is a crime against humanity.
