This is the one and only official ballot for the Mideast Region for the Ratification of the New Constitution.

Voting will open at 14:08 EST on Wednesday 20 April, 2005 and will close exactly one week later; Only votes in this time frame will be counted.

To qualify to vote in this election you must be registered in one of the following States and display an avatar or have a note in your signature to that effect:

DC, IL, IN, KY, OH, MD, MI, MO, VA, WV or WI.

To pass, the Constitution simply requires more Aye votes than Nay votes.

You can find a copy of the New Constitution here: HERE

If you vote Aye it will look nice if you sign, so feel free to do so. A signature will be counted as an Aye vote.

Can I rescind my ratification? My only problem is that I think the fed has too much power under this document.

Sincere apologies, I thought this thing closed at midnight tonight.

I'll count Philip's abstention.  I probably shouldn't, but it was my fault this got left open too long.

With 11 'Aye' votes, 0 'Nay' votes, and 1 abstention, the Mideast region has officially ratified the new federal constitution.
