Hmm...I think it's possible but not that likely.  Most likely you need Senator James Lankford (R-OK) to become a national figure who gets elected to the presidency.
Correction: Actually after reading up it turns out that he is not a Native American.  I did learn though that 2 (Tom Cole and Markwayne Mullin) Oklahoma Reps are Native American.  So Mullin could get elected to Senate and one day become elected President.
Interestingly, the highest ranking Native American in history was Charles Curtis - who became Senate Majority Leader, then VP for one term.

The main reason it's unlikely is that these groups are a small percentage of the population,

If we have a Hispanic president, he could easily be part Native American (a Mexican mestizo, perhaps).

That is true.  And there has probably been someone with some native ancestry elected early in the country's history.  Perhaps we should restrict the question to members of an official tribe?
