The jmfcsts seem to like Santorum, but jmfcst doesn't.

Politico will start to focus on Santorum now. I doubt he will keep his mouth shut.

That said, he really think Politico is just joking around. Not even Romney's sons seem to be so into Mitt.

We need to rename his thread to "Why Santorum is bad and Romney awesome", as Gingrich became irrevelant.

It's nice to see Santorum, the reasonable alternative to Romney, get some well-deserved attention for the first time since Iowa. I'll never understand why Gingrich got more attention than him. Hopefully Gingrich will get creamed in Arizona/Michigan, and decide to drop out.

So, Politico, if I understand you, your personal position is that being a "big government conservative" is a "reasonable alternative" to Romney's notion of Republicanism, whatever that is?

I find it a tad be ironic that you are trying to appeal to Tea Party folk by saying Santorum's policies are antithetical to their beliefs when you, yourself, think Santorum's position are "reasonable."

Yes, as much as I hate to admit it, and much to my regret, I am responsible for this "Congratulations Phil" nonsense, simply as congratulations for the election of a Republican Senator and Governor in PA.  The phrase has since been picked up and copied by innumerable posters on this forum.

All I got was derision, ridicule, and sarcasm.

Well, that's what I got for trying to be nice to someone, who never appreciated it.

Oh well, as I like to say, the Winfield legacy lives on.
