Boris Johnson to run against Livingstone

Astonishing. Finally, a Tory candidate likely to make me enthusiastically support Livingstone (as opposed to the usual semi-embarrassed way of supporting him...). I thought this day would never come.

Boris will be a good candidate against Livingstone; it likely forces Livingstone into a 'class' based attack and defense which would be suicide.

Ken just needs to play the Londoner card . If I wasn't Labour, I'd likely support Ken against Boris for that reason alone. Like him or loathe him, his dedication to London is unquestionable

Is Boris' candidacy for mayor a done deal or do any other Conservatives have a realistic shot at taking on Ken?
