Watching the Trump rally from yesterday; does Matt Rosendale have some sort of speech impediment?

Hopefully. If so, let's get him on a debate stage with Tester lol.

Retail politics at its best!!!

Tester has “gone Washington”

He has been the largest receiver of lobbyist funds the 2018 election cycle.  After Tester said this charge was “bull” the AP verified he led the field, having received $394,478.  He led the field in 2012, also, receiving $502,031.

I wonder, if he has become friends with Jack Abramoff?   Did Senator Burns lead the field?  A little bit of hypocrisy here, do you not think.

Guess who is second this year?  Someone named Brown from Ohio, who has taken in $381,033.  Remember, this cycle is not over.

Who was second in 2012?  Another Ohio native John Boehner at $423,750.  He had the whole weight of the House on his back and Tester still beat him.

For details see https://hotair.com/archives/2018/09/12/jon-tester-fails-ap-fact-check-top-recipient-lobbyist-cash/

So #POPULIST Purple heart and authentic, he even talks like a #populist Purple heart WWC Montanan. Tester can count himself lucky that "swing voters" here don’t really care about such irrelevancies (or anything of substance, for that matter).

It'd be nice to get a poll of this race, even though I know that there usually aren't that many MT polls. I mean, I'm sure that Titanium Tester will win in an overwhelming landslide, I'm just curious whether it'll be a 70-point landslide or a 90-point one. Wink

With all due respect, I think you’re underrating Tester's chances big time. A Mason-Dixon or AARP poll of Garfield County gun owners would definitely be nice, though.

I don't know how "Tester is safe" became a meme. I've never actually seen that said unironically.

I don’t see how that is a problem for him. If anything it helps him out a bit in a state like MT.

Charlie Cook has had it as "likely D" from the very beginning, even having Senators like Tina Smith, Debbie Stabenow, Tammy Baldwin, and Angus King as more likely to lose at certain points (and still to this day for Tina Smith.)

To be fair, it’s not just Cook. I’ve seen this #take on Atlas, PredictIt, etc. as well. Apparently it’s because of "retail politics", "populism", "long Democratic tradition in Montana/Montana Democratic state at heart", "elasticity", "trash candidate Rosendale", etc.

Tester is definitely favored this year, but he’s not the invincible juggernaut people are making him out to be.

Tester is running an ad about how Maryland Matt is a fake #populist Purple heart

https://youtu.be/jk7HMKlHCgA

Absolutely devastating ad. Is there a rating higher than Titanium D?

Looks like we're all going to trigger BRTD with this thread.

Here's some evidence that Tester is a true WWC #populist Purple heart
