If Cam keeps this up he will be a diamond in the rough.

I don't think you can be called "a diamond in the rough" if you're a number one overall pick.

The rough being Carolina, the diamond being Cam.

I wanted the Cowboys to draft Kafka last year because he reminded me a lot of Tony Romo and thought he would fit well in the existing offense as the future starter.  Last night did not change my opinion.

Just remember all the other QB's we schistered the rest of the league on the last few years...AJ Feeley...McNabb (past prime potentially)...Kolb...this offense might help make QBs look good.

Kolb looks better in two games for the Cardinals than he ever did for the Eagles, but I see your point.

Note how Bushie slyly tries to turn an NFL discussion into an update thread.

4.5 stars out of 5.

Dallas Cowboys can't win unless they learn to, you know, run the ball when they have a 27-3 lead in the 2nd half.  Those passes should never have happened.

It could be worse.  We could have $100 million invested in Michael Vick with no money left for the rest of the crappy team.

I know this is not about the game, but EW weekly and my Fox channel reported this:

The rumor for the Super bowl halftime show is going around, and they are saying Maddona is the favorite. What do you all think?

Does anyone really care about the halftime show?

I do if it's Black Eyed Peas.

Jets/Lions Romo can show up every week and I'd still take him over Vick and that $100 mil salary.

You are aware Vick's only going to get about 4/10 of that $100 million, right?

Excuse King for the excessive stupidity. He doesn't know any better.

$40 mil is still about $41 mil too much for Ron Mexico.

I never realized how similar Alex Smith looks to Aaron Rodgers.  Maybe that's what caused the 49ers to accidentally take him instead.

Do you watch games? Or do you just enjoy saying things that sound clever inside your head?

My point is Tony Romo is better than Michael Vick.  I know this as I watch games.

Alex Smith has actually been a decent player the past three years.  He's not a franchise QB, but a team with a good run game and defense can win with him.

Murray is the first RB Romo has had to have 2 100 yd games in a season. TWO.

As Andy Reid always shows, it's hard not to be a choker without a run game.

Cowher is overrated. Ken Whisenhunt and LeBeau were the architects of his only SB win.

Sanchez is just your typical Carroll USC QB.  Things were so easy for him in college that he can't handle pressure, tight coverage, or adversity.

The Jets should trade for Kyle Orton.  He's not doing anything in Den.

Load 9 in the box and have the DEs play contain on the outside with a LB spying the middle.  I just stopped Tim Tebow.  You're welcome NFL DCs.

Pre-Reid, the Eagles were the Lions of the East (ignoring the Cardinals, who never worth mentioning).  Reid is the best coach in your franchise's history.  Any other look is just clouded nostalgia.

Look on the bright side, they are a 3-13 team that almost went 15-1.  So, that Top 5 draft pick will be put to good use.

I knew the Eagles were going to be bad. They had the same exact problems the Cowboys had last year: scrub safeties and middle linebackers. The rest of the team is fine, but the middle of the field is no contest for even the worst NFL offenses.

The Eagles need to finally find their replacements for Trotter and Dawkins if they want to have a good team again.  Their defense has no leadership.  Their offense is just fine.

Packers are going to lose their opening playoff game.  I gotta feeling.
