Just wondering, how both parties' share in the Senate and in the House of Representatives look like in this scenario?

My guess is of course Texas can go Republican in 1970 since it already went Republican in 1952 and 1956.

Great idea to include the cancelation of North Vietnamese military offensives and of North Vietnamese supply of money and weapons to the Viet Cong, which should ensure that South Vietnam will survive.

Nice choice of Paul Laxalt at the Supreme Court.

Definitely great news for Goldwater to receive the endorsement of Sam Yorty, a Democratic mayor of one of the largest cities in America.

My prediction: the dude is gonna lose big against Goldwater.

I agree. Most of the Democratic contenders are not so well liked, especially Wallace and McCarthy. And who knows, it is also possible that the 1972 DNC is brokered if the primary race continues to be so splitted between the 4 remaining candidates.

I wonder which modifications to the legislation could be brought in order to get the flat tax passed.

Of course, in real life, Reagan's brand of conservatism was strengthened thanks to Barry Goldwater's 1964 campaign. But it would be even further reinforced if Goldwater is President.

Anyway, Reagan '76!
