Per these rules (name your state preference, foreign posters): https://www.senate.gov/CRSpubs/3f85020c-5fe6-40d7-955d-dfec9defb72a.pdf

3 "A" Committees (Including 1 "Super A," aka Armed Services, Appropriations, Finance, Foreign Relations)
1 "B" Committee
1 "C" Committee (Optional)

It'd be easier to just name the ones I'd want to be on:

Appropriations
Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry
Commerce, Science and Transportation
Rules and Administration

I could probably swap out Foreign Relations for Appropriations, honestly.

OP mentioned three A committees but the rules on the PDF say 2, so if OP is somehow right my third A committee would be Judiciary.

It's weird. From what I gather from skimming some assignment lists you can have 1 Super A and 2 As, but the Super As are listed with the regular As.

Judiciary

HELP

Personally, three would give me enough work, as I'd actually want to attend most/all of the hearings and markups and not feel like I'm running all over with my head cut off. I would only take a fourth assignment if it was to a committee no one cares about (Rules/Ethics/Aging).

Yes.  You can serve on up to three A committees, but no more than one Super-A committee.

I think this configuration exists because there are some senators who sit on no Super-A committees.  For example, Cortez Matso (D-NV) has seats on CST, Banking and EPW but no Super-A assignments.

*I read the rules, and apparently you're not allowed to serve on more than 2 A committees, and you're not allowed to serve in the same committee as another senator from your state.

That's weird. Domenici and Bingaman served on the Energy Committee at the same time, and both were their parties respective ranking members.

Maybe the rule applies to senators from the same party?

Most Senators serve on 3 A committees, 2 "regular" A committees and 1 "super" A committee.  The "no more than 2 A committees" rule is only referring to these regular committees and predates the establishment of Super A committees.

The rules are set up in a way where each senator serves on 3 A committees, one of which is a Super A committee.  No senator can serve on more than 1 Super A committee.

Also, it should be noted that Republicans are much more sticklers for these rules than Democrats.  Republican committee assignments are pretty much automatic based on seniority, whereas Democratic leadership has more say in selecting some of its membership into powerful chairmanships.
