ISn't Joe campaigning hardest in OK?

Those campaigning hardest in OK would be Edwards and Clark.  That said, most polls still have Kerry leading Edwards and Clark with some showing a narrow Clark lead.

The very idea that Oklahoma Democrats would support Kerry in a primary is scary to say the least.

The latest registration figures I have put Democrats at about 53%, Republicans about 37% and another 10% for Independents and others.

Historically speaking Oklahoma has been a Democratic state.  Since statehood in 1907 the legislature has been controlled by Democrats with the one exception of the 1921-1922 session.  We also did not elect a Republican governor until 1962.  Come to that Reps have only won 5 elections for governor.

There can't be very many Democrats in Oklahoma can there?

I don't know if you're talking about OK or DE, but here goes:

Oklahoma:

Clark: 28%

Kerry: 27%

Edwards: 19%

Lieberman: 7%

Dean: 6%

Delaware:

Kerry: 42%

Dean: 12%

Edwards: 11%

Lieberman: 10%

Sharpton: 9%

Clark: 9%

The Oklahoma poll looks very consistent with the ones I've seen locally.
