I guess the sums Senator TNF's amendment generates would be quite hard to come up with...

But anyway, I like the spirit of the bill. It will of course require numbers to look at, but I like the bill as it stands, I believe this is a sensible approach.

Senator, I personally do not oppose relatively high taxes on the rich. But we have reached a level, that, if increased even more, would generate nothing but the flight of capital into private fonds and to the Cayman Islands or whatever. The result would be less revenue rather than more.

So then seize their assets. Not hard.

There is this subtle line between a democracy and a dictature, and I would rather not cross that line, because I am quite content with a liberal democracy, thank you very much.

It's not a dictatorial move to reclaim what has been stolen from the working class in the first place.

If you feel so...

I guess we won't be getting anywhere here without any numbers, as vague as they may be. If you'll allow me, I'll try to find something this afternoon.

I'm sorry, as you noticed, I didn't find the time to search for something.

Well, this seems the (most) sensible(st) we can get without any definite numbers, so I will support this.

I'd be okay with a final vote.
