I just called Barbara Boxer's office in LA, and the Senator hasn't taken a position on Clyburn's proposed appointment.  Is she asleep, or just in bed with Cox like Feinstein?

Feinstein's office says Feinstein won't take a position until a couple days before the main confirmation hearing, doubtless for good procedural reasons that have nothing to do with hiding from the issues at hand.
