As my first official acts as President Pro Tempore of the Senate, I call to vote the confirmation of Hermit as Secretary of the State Department and Beef as Secretary of the Treasury Department. All in favor Aye, all opposed Nay. You must cast seperate votes for each.

So do we get sworn in?  Where/how does this happen?

I don't know if Cabinet Secretaries are sworn in...if any of the justices want to, they can do it...
