Tim Wirth was a good and very smart environmentalist. He also would probably have made a better President than Bill Clinton. He was the second Democrat I was hoping would run in 1992 after Dale Bumpers.

I might align with Dukakis more ideologically, but Gary Hart would've been a stronger nominee if the cheating scandal never happened.
