Even better for Cruz then, I guess. Only behind by 5.

Well, I kind of like those numbers. Having one establishment candidate with a big lead over the other establishment types, is a good thing. The culling needs to get going with some dispatch, particularly if the numbers are so low for some of them, that their vote totals will not garner them any delegates. But really the numbers are more important for NH than the national ones to facilitate this process that I described for the moment.

And it's always nice to see Trump below 30%.  Smiley

Yes, they are known for their anti-Trump polls.

Great result for TRUMP, considering the WSJ's well known bias against him. A five point lead in this is like a ten point lead in an unbiased poll.

Is there a link to the full PDF-file? On MTP they mentioned something about how 61% of Trump supporters did not attend church weekly.

Great numbers for Cruz, hitting 22% in a national poll and trump went up a bit too due to carson catering. Good numbers for rubio as well.

It's in line with other live interview phone polls, but not with internet polls.

It is now not only Trump with a huge difference between live and internet polls, Ted Cruz does 8.7% better in live polls compared to internet polls. Either Trump is miles ahead with no one really closing, or, Trump has a good lead but Cruz is surging.
Rubio does better in live polls but Bush does better in internet polls, but I am not sure the differences are really that significant.

This poll is several weeks old now, but the WSJ has a new story about it.  They divide the GOP electorate into three nearly equal pieces: “Trump voters”, “social conservatives”, and “establishment centrists”, and asks each group if they could see themselves potentially supporting someone outside of their “lane”.  66% of the Trumpsters, for example, could imagine themselves supporting Cruz, while 69% of social conservatives could imagine themselves supporting Rubio:

Not surprising given that NBC is an out-of-touch latte liberal outlet.
