"Bad Day" by Daniel Powter (2005). I just figured out why the song is so irritating: all the open fifths at the start, all in the same key.

Here's a hint: It starts with a bunch of open fifths, it's from 2005, and it's by Daniel Powter.

You haven't heard it since 2006, and I'll bet you're still sick of it.
