Excellent.  We need more Democrats like him.  He seems to be of the Bill Clinton/Mark Warner fold - talk like a populist, govern like a libertarian.

He's really not much different from the average Democrat. He's mainly just more likeable. The posters on Daily Kos love him, by the way.

I hate the DLC as a rule, but their candidates do manage to win somehow, so they must be good for something.

Schweitzer's not in the DLC (and he's pretty liberal as well).

I am constantly amazed by the misinformation I see on this board.

I assumed most Democrats who win in red states would be in the DLC or Blue Dog group.

Don't make assumptions.
