Even though Lunsford is basically a Republican I really want him to win just because it would be awesome taking down the Republican senate leader.

While true, the defeat of one would be so much more fun that the defeat of the other. Though it would kind of annoy me if we won this seat but Jim Martin lost in Georgia, since Jim Martin is actually a Democrat.

Does Lunsford support flag-burning though?

No, he shares McConnell's position. Someone here emailed the Lunsford campaign to confirm.
