Dane finished reporting. Dems netted 85,119 votes out of Dane County in the primary. Dems are currently leading statewide by 83,565 votes.
Hmm, looks like Dem strength is unfortunately packed in Dane. Looking really horrible for taking back the legislature.

The primary composition of Paulsen's seat is eye popping:

Paulsen (GOP): 39080
Young & Phillips (Dem): 69481

Democrats making up 64% of the primary electorate...

Almost perfectly in line with the statewide margin.

Wait, was the general election for WI-GOV held today? Because reading through the last 15 pages of this thread, you’d think Walker has already lost and WI is as blue as IL.

No, but if it was, I would wager on Evers winning it.

He’s definitely in trouble, but people here act like Republicans are never going to win another statewide race in WI again.

Again? Of course they will. This year is another matter.

True, but I'd still wager that Evers edges it out.

Possible, especially with Vukmir (good lord) on the ballot.

Walker still has a chance (not moving this race out of Toss-Up unless we get a Marquette poll showing him down by a decent margin), and of course Wisconsin is still a swing state, but it's hard to analyze tonight as anything but bad for Republicans in the state. As I said earlier, what happens this year doesn't necessarily indicate what's to come, but as of right now, it doesn't look good for Republicans in the Midwest running this year.

I wonder if we'll ever see a Republican win in Wisconsin while winning nothing besides the WOW counties + Milwaukee County. Vukmir came pretty close.

lolpawlenty

Anyway, seems like a solid night for Dems overall. Shame that Ellison, Omar and Bryce won, but it was always going to be an uphill climb to prevent it.

Ok, I looked this up, and saw one reference to "apartheid Israel." While the Venn Diagram between strong criticism of Israel and anti-Semitism has an uncomfortably big middle section, this alone is not an "anti-Semitic rant" or evidence that she's anti-Semitic, IMO.

I think other (worse) tweets got brought up in the relevant thread, but admittedly I haven't followed it too closely. But I got the sense it was pretty serious.

That's pretty bad, but looking at the rest of the article, it appears she's moderated since then especially now that she's running for office. That's good enough for me.

Pretty sure the FGM thing is false. The anti-Semitic part has already been debated to death.
