Does the OS go to blue screen when an infidel uses it, or does the whole computer explode?

No, it's based off of Linux, not Microsoft Windows.

Why am I not surprised, just misses the label 'halal'.

I also heard about something that I'd consider more important, this Muslim girl with which I spoke during a long time, but didn't for a long time, spoke me about a project to do Internet addresses (that's the way we call it in French, I mean Internet links) in Arabic characters. Never looked further about it, dunno more, but one more time wouldn't be surprised some try.

Not just in Arabic, but also other scripts, such as Cyrillic and Chinese.  Some of the new internationalized top level domains that have been introduced this year are مصر. for Egypt, .中国 for China and .рф for Russia.
