1. Glenn by far, I guess the fact that I met him helps with that.
2. Metzenbaum
3. Voinovich
4. Brown
5. Portman
6. DeWine

Seems to be a pretty impressive bunch, other than DeWine.

Brown and Glenn are top 2, easily. Ended up voting for Brown. Worst is probably DeWine by default. The others are alright.

Metzenbaum/Portman

Most are good, except for DeWine and Portman, went with Portman just because of the nature of his campaign against Strickland [not that Strickland deserved to win mind you].

1. Voinovich
2. Glenn
3. Portman

4. DeWine
5. Metzenbaum
6. Brown

Pretty great group overall. Metzenbaum's long time fighting special interests more than any Senator preceding or since him makes him edge out Brown.

Metzenbaum once lost a primary by claiming Glenn – a decorated veteran who fought in multiple wars – had "never worked for a living."  Politics aside, he was a pretty nasty guy whereas Brown – whatever you think of his political views – is pretty clearly in politics for the right reasons (and it's rare for someone like that to make it to the Senate).  It's hard for me to see the argument for Brown being the worst even from a conservative perspective since Metzenbaum was both aggressively liberal and a bit of a jerk (to say the least).

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised that Atlas likes Glenn so much though given that he was kinda conservative and was one of the Keating Five.  I'm not saying he's awful, but he's not the best either.

Glenn isn't really the best from a staunchly left wing perspective. He probably is the best choice, however, for Blue Dog/New Democrats.
