Le Monde has put together a fairly nice quiz, in French obviously, which requires you to send in your email addy if you want full results for all themes, but whatev:

http://www.lemonde.fr/election-presidentielle-2012/quiz-programmes.html

My full ranking is:

1. Joly
2. Bayrou
3. Melenchon

On 'daily life': Poutou - Joly - Hollande
'crisis': Sarkozy - Cheminade - Bayrou
'fonctionnement de l'état': Mélenchon - Bayrou - Joly
'aménagement du territoire': Joly - Hollande - Bayrou
foreign policy: Bayrou - Joly - Arthaud

Too lazy for an account, but I probably agree with Sarko on the issues.

There is only so much Google translate can do for me but these were my results:

Overall Matches:

1. Philippe Poutou - New Anticapitalist Party
2. Jean-Luc Mélenchon - The Left Front
3. Eva Joly - Europe Écologie / The Greens

Daily Life: Poutou (#1), Mélenchon (#2), Joly (#3)
The Crisis: Le Pen (#1), Mélenchon (#2), Cheminade (#3)
State Functions: Mélenchon (#1), Joly (#2), Poutou (#3)
Regional Management: Poutou (#1), Joly (#2), Bayrou (#3)
International Policy: Arthaud (#1), Joly (#2), Poutou (#3)

This was a pretty interesting quiz to take - especially since at first glance I was under an impression that Hollande was most aligned with my perspectives. This provides me a good opportunity to revisit some of the French candidates and learn more about them. Smile

There must be a problem here, I doubt everyone here is far-left or far-right.

The test seems biased in favor of extremist candidates.

I actually got interested in the Fremch election reading a Newsweek article on it, so I might try taking this (with the help of Google Translate) later today.
