Pulaski County, a very red county in the southwest that has more people living there than you think, is finished reporting. 28% Beshear, 15% Clinton.

Yeah, everyone else is just missing Lexington which is why they are behind. And those rurals are all Wester, the east is done. Oh, and theres the small towns like Paducah and Bowling Green,

I think based off the data so far that Beshear will win by 2%, my prediction was Bevin +4 but I think Bevin’s unpopularity trumped polarisation.

Dave Wasserman is comparing the county results to his benchmarks for the candidates, and Bevin is massively underperforming.

I thought this was impossible, but I'm suddenly getting a feeling I haven't felt since Doug Jones pulled even with Roy Moore late in the day back in 2017

I don’t think even those massive losses in urban/surburban KY would have been enough to doom Bevin. If he loses, it will (ironically@IceSpear et al.) be because he’s simply not getting the numbers he needs out of rural KY, not even close.
