The mods have stopped openly holding "Pro-Israel" posters to a double standard, even as the subset of Leipverse members who are actually invested in the conflict remains much more "Pro-Israel" than you'd expect given how young and left-of-center active posters skew.

Mods wimped out and kicked the can down the road. Everyone temp banned is on the road to being full banned. Then for some idiotic reason allowed back to go back to being the exact same person before being banned again for good. A cycle as old as time.

And the ghouls proudly proclaim them as martyrs.

I think my position on him is similar to left-leaning posters who liked Sanchez, despite some horrendous political views (although to his credit he was a legitimate Never Trumper who never voted for him) he was very friendly and personable and contributed well even though he was often fairly hackish...but took his lumps in stride. I had a bit of a long running argument with him over whether it was possible for the Republicans to win a majority on the Illinois Supreme Court, in the end they did not but actually came closer in the swing seats that I expected (within single digits in Biden by double digits seats), and he gave me the accolades afterwards.

So I voted FF but can totally understand people not doing so, and hope that he uses his time off to calm down on this issue ala GMac.
