i understand why he was the leader. but he bores me. he doesnt have any passion about things. he reminds me of a robot.

Was Harry Reid the best man for the job considerring how important it is for the dems to fight and be tough in the senate? Harry Reid is running in 08 so i understand why he got the pick. But should we have picked someone with more passion and stubborness.

Mary Landreu (Louisiana and a catholic) she might not the most popular of peoples. but we must remember she won her seat in Louisiana, when Bush campaigned agaisnt her. She is also one of the real people to tell Sean Hannity what a complete idiot and hypocrite he really is. She asked Sean after his interview with the President "why dont you ask Geroge the next time you see him whether he would want a cup of tea and lemon curd cake or whether he liked playing ping pong or tennis" made me laugh so hard i nearly cried "Mary, you wanna thrown cheap shots then you do that" "No Sean, i`m not the one who likes to play hold my hand i love you so much, your the greatest president we`ve ever had. Have you looked at the numbers that dont have a job, health insurance or not. oh thats rigth sean you talk about what liars the dems are."

Harry Reid seems to be doing a fine job holding the caucus together in defeating any possibility that President Bush could privatize Social Security, and sowing dissensions in Republican ranks through his intransigence on refusing to compromise.  i was skeptical of him at first, but after what i have seen over the past several months, i think he is the right man for the job.  he should stay right where he is, and not run for any higher office.  he is magnificent as minority leader, considering the straits the Democratic Party is in.

I agree.  Landrieu was my top pick for the SmL.

I do think Harry Reid was the right choice for the job. He doesn't seem tough, but he is tough. He is a former boxing champion and grew up very poor in Nevada. He is also a Senate veteran and has brought the Democratic caucus together since being elected Minority Leader.

Id prefer Biden to be SML.  He's a brawler.
