In early 1723 a slave revolt in Cuba and was aided by the new Florida Republic. It was quickly successful and soon other islands in the Carribean joined the revolt against the Spanish. After an early Summer hurricane hit the Yucatan and the Spanish authorities failed to aid in the recovery, the new Republic of the Carribean stepped in and gained the support of the natives, slaves and even the Spanish plantation owners. By early October most of the Yucatan had joined the new republic.
Meanwhile in the west, the territory of Mexicana made gains eastwards towards the Colorado River. A great chief of the Cumash peoples lead fight and after a great battle against the Spanish in the Coachella Valley he was named Great Chief Scorpion. The Spanish gave up all possesions west of the Colorado River including Baja California.
In the north the Inuit tribes rebelled against the British and Russians but were quickly squished by the red coats.
