Elise Stefanik is my current prediction.  She can raise money, is relatively moderate on abortion when compared to the rest of the GOP, and is more than willing to be a sycophant for Trump.

isn’t she too young? she’s going to be only 40 by election day.

Like Trump cares! He likes them young.

Why not... Donald Trump?

Completely loyal to Donald Trump, overwhelmingly popular with all Republicans, no chance he'll turn out to be a loser or have any unknown scandals, gets to take office if Donald Trump is disqualified or impeached, lets President Trump cast a decisive vote in the tied Senate... he's perfect!

If Trump was smart, he'd pick a Black or Hispanic running mate to get more votes from those blocs. Or even better, a Muslim running mate.

I don't see how that would really be relevant.  Though an almost 40 year age gap between a party's nominee and their running mate is pretty surreal.

Here is the current top 10 candidates according to oddschecker:

Tim Scott +560
Tulsi Gabbard +880
JD Vance +1200
Doug Burgum +1400
Marco Rubio +1400
Elise Stefanik +1500
Ben Carson +1700
Lee Zeldin +2000
Nikki Haley +2700
Byron Donalds +3300

Oddschecker has gone a little crazy since then; Tim Scotts odds have dropped way, way down to +45900, way worse than Kristi Noem's current +7400. Is this a glitch, or do the oddsmakers know something we don't?

Here is their current top 10:

Doug Burgum +700
Tulsi Gabbard +800
JD Vance +1200
Marco Rubio +1400
Nikki Haley +2700
Byron Donalds +3300
Wesley Hunt +3300
Sarah Huckabee Sanders +3900
Mike Pompeo +4300
Vivek Ramaswamy +4500

Oddschecker is goofy
Vivek Ramaswamy is already ruled out, Trump would sooner deport Nikki Haley, Trump will see Tulsi Gabbard as a desperate grifter, Mike Pompeo wins him nothing.

Tim Scott is my bet. He relentlessly polishes Trump's boots and Trump's advisors will think he'll help them win the black vote

Curious as to why Oddschecker has Doug Burgum as the frontrunner for the veepstakes (obscure Governor of a very small - and very safe GOP - state).

The single most likely person imo is Tim Scott, but I also would put his odds below 50/50.

That description applies to Mike Pence too (maybe except for the adjective 'very').

Stefanik could help a lot with the jewish vote and it´s not like she had any path to win a NY Senate race in the future.

Why do Jews care about Stefanik?

I throught she was jewish. I think she is a bit liked by them thanks to the antisemitism hearings, throught.

Well, I donpt think she has much weaknesses, and can appeal to the suburban Romney-Biden moderates.
