Story County (Ames) is also out, that will probably go for Paul.

Either way, this is kind of boring for being so close. Speed it up, Republican vote-counters.

If the current proportion of votes per precinct continues, turnout will end up being around 105,000-110,000, lower than 2008.

Paul's lead is down to 2% in Polk County; Santorum is in second there now.

Story County has started to report more, and Romney is winning there.

Eyeballing it, I'd say Santorum wins IA-04, and Romney wins IA-03. I'm not sure about the other two.

Looks like most of the remaining precincts are in Romney counties, so I'm going to bed assuming he pulls ahead at the last minute.

Romney won because he won the most Democratic counties in the state. It's like a mirror image of Hillary's "win all the Republican areas" strategy.

Anyone calculate the results by CD yet?
