I'm really quite shocked by his sudden surge into the positive numbers again. I thought that, given the nature of the campaign and his final-year status, that being tied to Clinton's bad favorables would weigh on him a bit, but really it seems to be going in the other direction. I suppose it speaks to what we already know about Obama's skill as a statesman. To what extent the biggest bounce is purely convention, a nostalgia that will linger through the end of his term, or a reflection of American distaste for this campaign (or a mix) will only come with more data, though, I suppose.
