How many opponents does the incumbent Republican have here ?

Is Assad the only one ?

If that's the case, maybe he can get 5-20% ...

Assad is the only Republican challenger. He should get around 20%. Some people think closer to 30%.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. You mean to tell me an Atlas forumite stands a chance of booting a sitting Congressman?

No, only the primary.

The primary is against a sitting congressman.

87/13 now. Anyone would think that the voters of Atlantic City had stumbled across his posts here, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Ok, Al. Lay off, dude. You're bringing up posts from someone that was a kid eight years ago.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't like to hold these posts from years ago against people personally (unless they're truly insane) when I know them to be reasonable people outside of this place.

I joined Atlas in July 2009, when the dude was no longer a "kid", just to witness his last show, as he "reported" that you were killed by your own father while in Italy. That was very mature, wasn't it?

Well, to read about later, I guess. Er... how was it taken at the time?

And I was in Italy, laughing my ass off when I found out about it. And I don't believe he ever posted my address. I could ask him since he's sitting right across from me but I don't care. But I apologize: I forgot Kal was the perfect picture of maturity.

Neither of you know the guy. Get over yourselves.

Yeah, I didn't or even imply that. I'm just saying that a bunch of nerds, trolling from their basement should get over themselves. Assad stood up for something and took on a machine.

But let's be real here: Marokai is pissy because he and his girl Ms. Maddow had a bad night in Wisconsin. No, scratch that. Not "bad." Horrific. It's going to take awhile for him to get over that.

Marokai's into dudes but that isn't necessarily a problem in this case.

If it had been a blanket primary, Mike would have come in fourth.

Uh? I never supported the recall to begin with and knew it would go down in failure from the get-go. I also haven't watched MSNBC in, what.. months now?

PS: I don't live in a basement. Is lying about others the mature thing to do?

I'm at a loss as to whether Phil contributes anything productive to this forum.

My response to that gem?...

One of the top ten Pot Calling the Kettle Black moments in the history of the forum. Easily.

I supposedly don't contribute anything because I stick up for a friend - that happened to be a candidate, had next to no resources but actually stood for something and took on a machine - because a bunch of whiny children think stuff he posted years ago on an Internet forum defines who he is in real life and want to kick him when he's down. Yes, that's a great contribution to the forum.
