I never knew how foolish and uninformed Trump was until he began pretending to know something about politics.

well... is it pretend or is just hard to find any reasoned understanding of the politics. Historical futures are not in a box.

Yes, but not because of the birther issue. I've always been a fan of Economic Protectionism, and he is the only major candidate speaking out against free trade right now.

No, but it'd be funny.

On what issues do you hold are you "conservative Republican" views? Just curious.

Mostly law and order issues. I probably would consider myself a Democrat if I didn't disagree with the party's stance on national security and some elements of its fiscal policy.

Which ones, specifically? Immigration, Patriot Act, etc.?

Come on people. All D vs. R partisanship aside, Trump is running as a publicity stunt to further his very lucrative media career. How can anyone take him seriously as president?

The fact he turned his father's huge fortune into a bigger fortune hardly qualifies him for the job.

Honestly, I've thought that up until the last week or two. I think he might actually do it if he sees a real chance at winning the nomination.

I totally agree JL. I think the fact he's gaining traction is leading him to actually run as opposed to merely loudly and publically flirt with a candidacy. And sure I think Trump's egomaniacal and flighty enough to say "why not?" if he truly catches fire. That said, I question whether a publicity stunt--albeit a detailed one Trump's heavily invested in, financially and personally--could ever meld into having the "fire in the belly" needed to actually make it to the first tier, let alone win.

Not a chance... the good thing is that I certainly wouldn't have to bother voting for Obama either.

I would hope not, but if it was between Obama, and Romney I suppose I could vote for him as an independent. But more likely I would not vote.

No, its this "Big Surprise" that he the Donald keeps reminding interview - ees.

Just what the hell can be a "BIG Surprise" at this point?

A announcement of a "I Think I Should Be President" reality show?...

no... it's certainly not going to be - ah gees, I was just kidding around'

there's only one thing that I can think of, at this time, that would be a "BIG SURPRISE"!
