This Kentucky race is hurting my brain.

More so because it's taking forever to get any precincts out of the urbans.

Cameron is winning in a blowout in KYAG. That’s not something people were predicting.

It appears that Stumbo's character assassination attacks against him backfired badly.

That and the major reporting disparities between everyone

Is that the district where the Republican had no choice but to run as a write-in?

Right.  Freitas (the incumbent) missed the deadline to file his paperwork to get on the ballot.

Personally love spending election nights with you fine folks, especially knowing that there will be numbers to pour over, counties to analyze, trends to anticipate, etc. tomorrow morning.

Only 1 precinct left in Boone county and it's still Bevin +15 down from his 30 point margin in 2015.

How do they know this? I thought write-in voting wasn't happening until later?

Not sure, but that seems like what most likely happened.

Finally some of the Jefferson results go into the NYT numbers - Bevin's lead drops from around 6.5% to 3.9% on that dump alone.

They won't count the write-ins until later, but it's an obvious conclusion that the massive amount of write-ins in that district are overwhelmingly for Freitas, who is running an active write-in campaign.

No one will care about Kentucky in 2020, though, and part of the uncertainty is how disorganized (but relatively fast) Kentucky is at reporting results.

True. Though the panic from when some random poster makes a wild, horrifying prediction out of nowhere I could do without.
