Do you realize most of "thread-jacking" is made of posts complaining about thread-jacking ?

This certainly means something interesting and funny, but sadly I don't know what. Sad

I'm firmly convinced I've not met a Liberal that actually knows what the definition of Fascism is.

And this post only further confirms that for me.

Being a fascist, you would say that, wouldn't you?

...and...

Really? You are pretty pathetic aren't you?

Again I don't think you have a clue as to what that actually means except that you've heard others use it so why not.

This is exactly the sort of behavior that I would expect from a fascist.

...and...

This is exactly the sort of behavior that I would expect from someone that doesn't even know what that term means.

Do you often fall into sarchasms?

Do you often use whatever statements and questions you can to duck the fact that you don't know something?

Possibly, maybe, I suppose so, on occasion, on a fair day, when the wind is blowing from across the Straits, before noon or after seven, but never on a Sunday.

Hey, I like Justin Bieber.  I'm not a fan of his music, per se, but I like him as a person.  I've read a little bit of his biography and he seems to be a good, Christian kid.  We definitely need more good, Christian people in the music industry.  They don't have to necessarily be in the Christian music genre, but at least represent Christ in such a way that honors and glorifies him.  The band U2, while not a Christian band per se, are strong Christians.  Even KISS became a Christian not too long ago.

I can't believe he is serious. I. just. Can't. Believe.

Is it possible that this post is serious ?

Harper's, undoubtedly. Strangely enough, human history suggests that governments with absolutely commanding majorities like Monti's tend to be less democratic than ones with severe internal divisions, particularly when the government in question was subverted by foreign technocrats.

Pray tell me... which historical examples are you thinking of precisely?

I was thinking of the Italian Social Republic when I wrote that, oddly enough.

Epic fail.

Did not the PFR have commanding majorities in Salò?

Why is British Columbia in the proposal? The province doesn't really have much in common with Washington and Oregon.

The inclusion of British Columbia is rather problematic. I can understand seceding from the United States, but who would want to leave Canada?

Yeah, there's no reason to want to lea--

Seriously folks? Colonizing the moon?!?!? How can #2 not be the most absurd?

I don't know about you, but I'd rather colonize the moon than reinstating child labor.

I'd like to colonize the moon with child laborers.  We could put them to work making mirrors to illuminate our streets.  That way, if any secular atheists tried to drive up to Ground Zero to build a mosque, we'd be able to catch them, and any plans they have to impose sharia law would wither on the vine.

Of course, I'd only sign onto this plan if I can go to the Moon myself to inspect the work of the child laborers.  But only if I can ride there in Moon Force One, in the front of the rocket, and we can take off from the Greek cruise ship I'll be on, where I'm doing some work for Freddie Mac as a historian, and yelling at reporters who ask me debate questions.

Yeah, that's the plan.  Call it a "Contract with the Moon".  What do you think?  Is this going to work or does it involve too much right wing social engineering?  As long as it isn't guided by a Kenyan anti-colonial worldview, I think we're OK.  Hopefully, this plan will preclude Bob Livingston from going after my job, or my having to pay any $300,000 fines for ethics violations.

I'm surprised nobody reported this.

While looking at the latest polling data, I'm seriously beginning to feel that Congressman Ron Paul of Texas could actually win the first contest of the nominating calendar.  It's looking like it will be between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.  This is a first for me, as never before did I ever think that Rep. Paul had a chance in anything.

Is anybody else feeling the same way?

New Pennsylvania numbers:

Asked of any woman on the street: Do you enjoy anal intercourse?

Yes .......................................................... 2%
No ........................................................... 5%
Get the hell away from me, you creep .... 93%

Adding this to the map we can see that there is still a clear national trend toward "get the hell away from me, you creep." Bad news for President Obama.

Brilliance.

Truly. My favorite is the subtle detail that the "yes" vote is slightly higher in Nevada. Grin

Definitely one of the best posts here.
