I don't see how he can

According to the Board of Elections only 18% of the Precincts are in. Cruz is leading in the votes from today.

Most Pro-Cruz counties are already reporting most of their votes in NC..

No they aren't.  Im looking at the board of election site and most counties aren't reporting the results from todays voting.

Trumps lead in Mecklenburg/Charlotte is falling slightly with new results but it probably is not going to be enough for Cruz

Kasich is doing real well in Mecklenburg with voters who voted today.

What's the chance that Cruz wins NC? I ask because I do not know enough about NC politics and political geography to ascertain whether he can pull off an upset.

It will be close.

Calling NC is dumb, the top four counties with the highest population are still out.

GOP turnout did not seem to be that high in NC.  Whereas in every state that voted so far the GOP vote total exceeded its 2008 votes by large margin, NC GOP primary vote did not seem to rise from 2008 levels.

Yes it did. There was over million voters in the GOP race
