Per the Southern Constitution:

Quote

Senator Lechasseur has not posted on the forum since November 10th and has posted no LOA.

It doesn't matter whether or not this is seen as constitutional, because the people of the Southern region have a right to ensure our voices are heard. At the very least maybe the Senate will actually get moving on this.

I PMed Lechassuer earlier today asking for a status update on his inactivity, though irrelevant if he isn't logging into the forum. If a resignation/expulsion occurs within the next month, there will be a special election to fill the seat for the remainder of the term.

I support an expulsion or a proper explanation on why so inactive for 9 days, but not recall

I’m not going to tolerate this anymore. I was elected at least partially on a platform of fighting inactivity, it’s time to put that into practice.

And there we go. 7 signatures. Now there comes the court case, unless Sestak gets his act together or Lechausser suddenly appears and resigns.

You can start with yourself, WB administration is off to a very poor start! Far lagging the excellent job that several regional executives are doing!!

I am consulting my legal team on this petition and will issue a formal statement ASAP. Stay tuned!!

Yeah WB, you can't talk. Get your act together and then you can lecture us all about activity.

I interpret this recall as VALID and have instructed the SoS to include it for this weekend's election (Spark/Fillinovich recall).

If you're going to lie, at least make it believable. We all know you never had a real platform, and the voters didn't pick you because you'd deal with inactivity.

Lol, it's insane how bitter the Federalists are that they were crushed by President weatherboy. This is the worst behavior I've ever seen.

It's insane how delusional Laborites have to be to think a completely useless and inactive President is a good thing.

Our criticism is completely valid and something he absolutely deserves. The fact that you can't see that speaks poorly about you and everyone else who supported him, not us.

It’s sad that valid criticism is apparently considered whining these days. Just because we lost doesn’t mean we don’t have the right to criticize this president. It’s deeply concerning the lack of activity from this WH and the excuses generated by some for it.

Also losing by 3 votes is not being crushed.

I don't see this recall as being constitutionally valid. We'd need a constitutional reform for it to be possible to allow recalling senators like this.

Both of you-

I'm going to say this once. This bickering needs to stop. Inactivity isn't a partisan issue, and arguing with the few members who are still active isn't going to change anything.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out the current President is extremely inactive and has no room to call anyone else out on inactivity. There's also nothing wrong with calling people out for defending this awful President.

If Pericles actually cared about inactivity, he'd stop defending weatherboy.
