looks like he wont be vp.  he basically ran the clinton iowa campaign..and well..we know what happened, unfortunately.

oh well, tom.  sec of agriculture couldfnt be too bad.  it pays well, at least.

You know, if Hillary was smart, she'd have had him stay in the race.

If he could have been turned into a Harkin-esque figure, Iowa wouldn't have mattered & she may have been able to just win the rest of the primaries pretty easily.

Or she would've skipped Iowa. Contesting Iowa may cost her the nomination.

he never could have been a harkin-esque figure.  he was polling terribly bad there before he dropped out...8-10%
