Sanders is the only credible candidate to reverse the oligarchy & build a new realignment. He is the only hope for a progressive agenda & will be a very strong GE candidate.

If both Sanders and Warren stay in this race, they will split the vote and neither one will be the nominee. As progressive New England liberals, they appeal to similar demographics and will sink each other if neither of them drop out.

Here we go again.  This is going to be the greatest sh*tshow in modern political history, and it's going to end with Trump barely winning and everyone f**king blaming eachother.

He's pushing 80 and that is a ridiculously old age to be seeking the presidency at. There are multiple candidates in this race unlike 2016, so he doesn't have the luxury of getting votes just because he's not Clinton. He won't make it until Super Tuesday.

Yes, Trump would demolish the most popular politician in the country, but surely a Clintonite like Harris or Gillibrand would do better 🙄

I know I'm not the first person to say this, but I'm starting to see 2020 as 1980, and I think Sanders is a direct parallel to Ronald Reagan - people say he's "too old", "too radical", etc, but in the end he ends up being just what the electorate wants after 4 years of a failed President.

Add Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Buttigieg's ages together and they still wouldn't be as old as Bernie LMAO

How is Harris a Clintonite? I want you to go to her page, look at her policies and explain why she's a "Clintonite".

There is no comparison. Like Reagan or not he was far more personable than Sanders is (being an actor helped) and that made up for an overall lack of substance. Ronald Reagan was a character.

This. He will also be the front runner (Biden is too chicken to run and defend his sh-t policies) and thus the main target of attack at the first debates. Harris, Booker, Gillibrand, etc will be taking a hatchet to his image. A lot of his voters were not blind ideological purists, they were simply rejecting Hillary’s coronation.

Look at her record rather than her current stated positions, and it's quite troubling from a progressive standpoint. I feel she's largely shifted left in order to help her chances, rather than had  a genuine change of heart.

Agreed. He will have a hard time in the debates against these other candidates and unlike Biden, Sanders is not really that charismatic.

Interesting. I don't agree with him on some ideas, but I think he's good. I found myself watching his YouTube channel many times.

Ugh....this again. Reagan was nowhere near as popular or formidable on election day as we are led to believe. All of that claptrap about the mythical "Reagan Revolution" is just BS hatched up by political nerds and history buffs. Most Americans didn't like Reagan anyway but the history has been re-written enough now that it would make his election seem like it was obvious or foretold:

As long as Trump's approval is in the toilet and/or the economy goes off if a cliff....Sanders will win because thats all that 90% of the voters care about.

Sanders is one of a very few Dems I'd consider voting for in the general.
