It was actually pretty funny back when it was a Christian satire site especially since it skewered conservative evangelical culture all the time too. Unfortunately it got sold in 2018 and the new owner just turned it into a right-wing version of The Onion that's very lame.

This. The previous ownership was plenty conservative too, but it had a distinct identity and choice of subject matter, and writers with good senses of humor about that subject matter. The current version is just Fox News...With Jokes!, although to be fair I suppose the Onion itself is increasingly MSNBC...With Jokes! too.

Yeesh.  I just took a quick look at their site.  Pretty much all of it is "35 genders! Pink-haired SJWs! Riots! Biden is senile!"  Half their articles start off with that and then segue into a non-satirical ad for some awful product aimed at Trumpists.

It's like an AI approximation of what humor might be. You'll occasionally get a vague jesture in the direction of a joke, or, if you're lucky, something with the same structure as a joke, but they never seem able to make them funny. I get the appeal if you're a conservative though, given how barren right-wing humor is. It's rare that a right-winger can deliver a second joke that isn't "haha 3928 genders" without getting too angry to get to the punch line, so any attempt at all is going to look great.

Not really a fan but letting an at best marginally funny satirical news site get under your skin to the point where you're writing this big long serious "fact check" article about them is pathetic little dick energy.

The Babylon Bee is about as funny as appendicitis. I seriously question the sense of humor of anyone who likes something that falls this far on the wrong side of the Carlin Equilibrium.

Freedom Satire, though the old version that focused more on religious than political satire was significantly better. It was also something I could relate to as a Christian conservative.

I still definitely enjoy the current version, however.

Pretty funny, though I think I agree that they've gotten less so since COVID started or so. 2018-2019 were the glory years. They've gotten rather better than the Onion, though, especially in getting funny reactions from people.
