I always wondered about such possibility.
In 1940 Reynaud somehow managed to defy Petain/Laval/Weygand/Marquet and Co. calls for cease fire and succesfully conducted an operation to move French government, large party of army and financial assets to Algier, in order to continue fight from African colonies. Of course in this scenario Darlan, who considered navy as his own fieldom, remained loyal.
Despite loss of the battle in Europe, Third Republic remained in fight.
Of course I'd expect de Gaulle to play a major role, as he was one of the Reynaud most trusted men
