see, this is why MItt is such a failure...he takes a position in order to try to look good, but in doing so he paints himself into a corner and his position is contradictory and can't be applied universally, and isnt politically viable....

...But Newt's position hits all these points because it is an organic position that he has thought out and considered the real world consequences

Newt: It's okay if you broke the law as long as it was a long time ago.

THis is probably Perry's best debate so far. Of course that bar is pretty low for him.

Cain clearly knows nothing about national security.

Bachmann is a bafoon.

And Newt owned immigration. He'll be the only GOP candidate that could compete with the latino vote because he actually understands it is IMPOSSIBLE to deport 12 million or more people in the US in a few years and hold down a massive border, every square inch.

Cain's and Romney's candidacies are dead after tonight.

Perry and Huntsman have new glimmers of hope.

Huntsman's dismissal of our success in Libya annoys me greatly.

This makes me wonder what would happen if there were major breaking news during one of these debates.

Huntsman brought up the Ottomans in a debate? That went over the heads of probably ninety-five percent of the audience.

Jon Huntsman should host a lecture series.

I don't really expect more than a handful of the candidates to be specifically familiar with Al-Shabab.  Looks like Ron Paul is the first to fall on his face.

I love Paul talking about "the al Qaeda" like they're a wild animal in the Safari.

Still waiting for Paul's answer. He does realize Somalia is at war within itself fighting a radical Islamic regime in the south and is throwing everything it has as the poorest nation in the world and cannot stand by itself. He really has no heart about countries and people fighting but struggling against tyranny does he?
