Honorable Justice Jbrase, Associate Justice for the South, I am filing this lawsuit against Ben Kenobi on the grounds that he broke the Rules of Procedure of the Southern Legislature, section 4:

Ben Kenobi, as Dean of the Chamber of Delegates, conducted nominations under Section 1 then proceeded to hold a vote under the same. However, after all Delegates voted, he arbitrarily disqualified two of the votes, that of Delegate fhtagn and my own, by creating a rule with no precedent that ballots can not be edited more than 10 minutes after being posted. The Rules and Procedure give him no authority to do so, and he clearly did this on partisan grounds to change the result. Again, the Rules and Procedure give him no authority to do this.

Thank you for your consideration.

Well, for one, first you just tried to get my ballot, which was only edited 15 minutes after being cast. Secondly, you have no power to decide what the time limit is. Maybe if you would stop deadlocking everything and let the right person be Speaker, we could improve upon the rules.

I think you're misinterpreting what Secretary Peebs said, unless she PMed you. You still haven't pointed to any authority you might have to disqualify a vote based on it being edited too late. There is only one mention of your task as Dean:

Doesn't say anything about arbitrarily discounting votes.

Peebs, who is our elections official concurs with invalidating fhtagn's ballot.
Again, I said if anything, not that there was anything.
it appears that you are mistaken.

I withdraw this case conditional on Delegate Ben Kenobi calling for a re-vote in the next two hours with the condition that no vote shall be invalidated without breaking a rule clearly stated in the original post calling for a re-vote.

I withdraw this case conditional on Delegate Ben Kenobi calling for a re-vote by 3:00 PM CDT tomorrow with the condition that no vote shall be invalidated without breaking a rule clearly stated in the original post calling for a re-vote.
Otherwise, I will plead my case. As I said in a different thread, starting up shouldn't take 2 full weeks. Vámonos.

Okay, so since we've reached a deal, I'm withdrawing this case.
