This is a proposal BTW. I've tried my best to balance the native population in each riding. Each riding should also have as many possible electors as each "white" riding does.

Any comments or thoughts? Like the idea? Hate it?

I used provincial numbers, that map, and this map:

EDIT - I cant seem to find the map again, gimme a bit.

The General idea is to start with this, and once we get voter rolls with natives on it, we can adjust the boundaries. This is what they've done in NZ, and why the Maori electorates have gained in numbers, and do not match possible electors. For example, I'd expect Nunavut voters to remain on the main rolls, thus taking away many "Native" voters in the north. Many of the Natives in NWT have a lot in common with northern SK, and you could draw a boundary to include both etc.
