The type of voter who is turning out for a Republican in an Alabama special election probably supports the Dred Scott ruling anyway.

What's so inaccurate about this

The absurd hyperbole?

Let's not get too carried away here. A small dash of hyperbole does not equal excessive hyperbole. Wink

I was hoping for a bipartisan discussion on how horrifying this is, but instead, I got blind Trumpets on one side going "ITS THE EVIL FAKE NEWS LIESSS" and ignorant San Francisco Democrats saying "ALL WHITE SOUTHERN MEN ARE EVIL INBREDS"

You're all disgusting. Shame.

One of the worst examples of "muh both sides do it" false equivalency/whataboutery I've EVER seen, and that's saying something.

It'd be pretty funny if the Republicans won every single gubernatorial race in New England. Especially if it happened at the same time as a Democratic wave.

That will never happen because NH and CT will vote for whoever has a (D) next to their name. Tongue
MT Treasurer is really taking the Titanium D NH meme to the extremes. Apparently he also thinks CT is titanium D.
Honestly, his constant circle-jerking over New Hampshire being a solid blue state annoys me.

I don't think it can be a circle jerk when there's only one participant.

Oh, right. Could two count? I feel like you'd need at least 3-4.

I always thought a single person  could "circle-jerk", at least in the (non sexual) context of the word.

The non sexual context is people telling each other what they want to hear though, right? i.e. groupthink/hivemind. If it's just two it would be more like jerking each other off, or one being jerking themselves off. Circlejerk would be like all the Arizona posters talking about how Jones is inevitable and I'm Satan incarnate.

Pyror and Lincoln are still somewhat formidable candidates and both are still young if they want to make a comeback this is there chance. As for the GOP Womack is most likely.

Also, the stupid assholes that thought going for a third party candidate did anything but make their vote worthless deserve to be beaten in the head with a stick. If you really want to see Jill Stein fellating Putin in the Oval Office, advocate for a non-FPTP system.

I suppose many people voted for Jill Stein to hurt Clinton and make sure she loses because she wasn't left-wing enough. This was done on purpose.
It's better to elect somebody like Donald Trump who is relatively moderate republican and won't be able to do much damage because of his incompetence now than wait 4 years and elect somebody competent and far more extremist like Bush/Ryan/Flake... with supermajorities in the house and senate. Clinton presidency with republican majorities in house and senate would be just one big disappointing compromise that would likely result in cutting social security, medicare and welfare state in general.

And of course abolishing FTFP and electoral college would be a great thing. I really hope more people start pushing for that.

He doesn't call himself ExtremeConservative for nothing. sadly I think his view is shared by many, many Republicans.

ExtremeConservative and krazen are probably more moderate, sane, and cogent than the average Alabama Republican. If that doesn't scare you, nothing will.

Alabama has a very proud 200 year history of being on the wrong side of it. Keep it going.

It’s such a shame, Al Franken would have been the greatest president since FDR, If it wasn’t for that damn #metoo movement (which is secretly controlled by Republicans to destroy high profile Democratic political, media, and entertainment figures).

Wow. Roll Eyes Don't even try to pretend this cuts both ways. Democrats, or at least most Democrats I know, would never support or vote for one of their own if there was a chance that person was a sexual predator. Meanwhile, a huge number of Republicans wouldn't care if their guy raped children so long as he pedals all the racist, sexist, warmongering nonsense they love to hear.

The simple truths mine is that way. ->

Call me when 90% of Democrats vote for an exposed pedophile in the modern era, then we can talk about "muh both sides."

Democrats love their sexual predators.

Just ask all the Dems who still love folks like Bill Clinton, John Conyers, and Al Franken.

Let's not forget the super Dem state of California:
https://www.politico.com/story/2017/12/24/sexual-harassment-allegations-california-democrats-306231

And those are just a small handful of examples.

Stop pretending you're a member of some special FF party when you guys are just as bad as the other guys.

Thanks for posting directly into the thread. I notice you didn't actually cite an instance of 90% of Democrats voting for an exposed pedophile in the modern era. Only a vague "some Dems" who still love <a bunch of people that aren't exposed pedophiles and multiple who were also forced into resignation.> You'll have to try a bit harder than that.

Blinded partisan remarks that ignore the truth because they don't fit in his little fantasyland bubble

Okay, Jill stein/Gillespie supporter
That.....that....that just doesn't even make sense.

Voting for both Stein and Gillespie doesn’t make any rational sense if you claim to care about the policies fhtagn claims to care about. But it’s a futile exercise to psychoanalyze Jill Stein voters anyway, so silly me
If both are agents against the globalist establishment, than yes, yes it does make sense. Stein certainly was and is. Gillespie was pretending to be, but still spoke (or rather parroted) the right message to a lesser extent.

LOL, wait, they're seriously a Stein/Gillespie voter? Now the incoherence makes total sense. #Greens4Gillespie! LMAO! This honestly rivals #Socialists4Christie. Only on Atlas...

And seriously? The former RNC chair, former VAGOP chair, and former Dubya advisor Establishment Ed is against the globalist establishment? LOL. That's a statement only a Jill Stein voter could believe.

Seriously, are all pretending we don't have a million "HERE IS WHY AL FRANKEN RESIGNING IS BAD" threads? Or how the only well-known rape accuser that's publicly acceptable to call a liar is Juanitta Broadrick?

Because clearly a few posters on uselectionatlas.org/FORUM making dumb threads about non pedophile Al Franken is equivalent to hundreds of thousands (over 90%!) of Republicans in Alabama voting for an exposed pedophile. I thought you were offended by ridiculous Roy Moore comparisons?

R A D I C A L  C E N T R I S M  intensifies

Another shameless Dem hack who can't accept the truth appears!

At least we can all get a good laugh from triggered Dems on here who pretend their party is some magical group of folks who would never sexually harass or assault anyone, defend someone who does, or even vote for said person, despite plenty of examples proving otherwise.

Seriously though, this type of behavior is unacceptable no matter which party someone is affiliated with (and as I mentioned before, it's been proven that yes, both sides actually do it).

Y'all need to get off your high horse and take off your blinders.

Still waiting for that citation of 90% of Democrats voting for a pedophile in the modern era...

Still waiting on you to address my original statement, but I guess it's easier for you to try and flip it when you can't be bothered to come up with a real argument against my point.

And you can't claim to be in a party where pedophiles haven't been supported when you've got folks like Bob Menendez and his love for underage hookers.

I guess you didn't see my reply. I'll re paste it for your convenience. Smiley

As for Menendez, you're really using a completely discredited right wing smear as your talking point? lol

You must be logged in to read this quote.

Remember when "Bernie Bernstein" tried to use paid fake accusations against Roy Moore and the media didn't publish them because they lacked credibility? Yeah, so don't even try to use the "muh media bias!!1!!" talking point either.

And by the way, even if it WAS true, he hasn't been up for re-election since then. On top of that, most people don't know about it because it was LITERAL FAKE NEWS (Wink), so why would they? Meanwhile, 90% of Republicans in Alabama were well aware that Roy Moore is a pedophile and gladly voted for him anyway.

Anyway, I've obviously never denied that the Democratic Party has plenty of bad people, both in terms of their voters and their politicians. But until 90% of them do something as egregious as vote for a pedophile out of pure tribal partisanship, your false equivalence holds no water.

Of course not, you want to rename it after some fly-by-nighter? Meanwhile Reaganfan has been spewing his crap for 14 years and maintaining the high quantity and quality.

I was under the impression the thread was renamed all the time.

Famous Mortimer has a long history of horrible posts that includes xenophobic racism, rape apologism, and eugenics (the latter being specifically targeted at individuals with physical and mental disabilities).  The Famous Mortimer Repository of Racism, Rape Apologism, and Reprehensible Posts would be as good a name as any for this thread.

Add homophobia and transphobia to that list:

(All of his posts in that thread deserve a spot here)
