If you need to get your college football fix (Saturday is so far away), the Coffeyville CC Red Ravens are playing at the #2 Iowa Western CC Reivers. http://goreivers.com/information/reiver-sports-network?bfplayvid=134445

Only Florida....down 3-0 and on their first drive they do a fake punt on 4th and 2 at their own 32 (in the 1st quarter???) , get it, and then go on a 66 yd TD run.....I can't

I believe it was a Miami-Florida game that ended with my all time favorite score of 31-4.  Yes, the loser (Florida, I think) got two safeties and nothing else.  And both safeties were on punts from near the goal line where the ball was snapped over the punter's head and out the back of the end zone!

Edit: yep, it was Miami 31, Florida 4.  1987.

Florida "won" the "football game." A good result, everyone and everything looked like trash. Miami delenda est.

Yeah, no clue why they're starting off at #8.  Although, when its a rivalry game on a neutral field you should be happy just to walk away with a win, college football is crazy.  Nice way to start the season.

The last 6-7 minutes of that game truly felt like a parody of football where someone wanted to see what would happen if both teams did the most stupid thing possible.

Another meme game with all of the turnovers, Tate tried a TD run and fell 1 yd short with 0 seconds left on the clock! Hawaii Rainbow Warriors upset Arizona 45-38!!!

Both teams really needed that to feel good about their odds of bowling. Arizona probably slightly better, but it's easy to see another 5-7 wasted year of Tate now. Fantastic game.

Youngstown and Villanova odds of getting to 8 wins for a playoff spot look much better today virtually doubling to 75 percent and 65 percent, respectively. Really just need to beat one more playoff quality team in five chances.

Hawaii's gonna go 2-1 against the Pac-12, you truly love to see it.

Not feeling great about Arizona's bowl chances — the back half of their season is Washington, at USC, at Stanford, (Oregon State which they should win), at Oregon, Utah, at ASU. Not a fun lineup to have to slog through.

#3 Georgia at Vanderbilt ... gonna be in Nashville, wish I could go!

Coming from a Vandy fan, alum, and season ticket holder (who will be at the game Saturday night), you aren't missing that much by not going.  Vanderbilt Stadium (or "The Dud") is not a particularly nice stadium, and it is likely to be full of red.  We haven't had a sell-out that was mostly Vandy fans since the 2017 K-State game.  It would (unfortunately) feel like a subpar version of going to a game in Athens with all of the UGA fans who will be there.  Fortunately, our new AD seems to understand the stadium problem and I'm confident he will work towards a solution.  The team winning will be a good start (since we did get good, loud, Vandy partisan, crowds during the James Franklin years).

What might be fun for you would be attending SEC Nation, the SEC Network's version of College Gameday, which will be on campus at 9 AM CT.  I've been other times it has been to Vanderbilt, and it's always a pretty fun time, usually with some tailgate-style games and some people giving away free food/Dr. Pepper samples.

(also, besides all the things that ER points out, it is going to get very ugly and very unpleasant very quickly — line right now is UGA by three touchdowns. get your free Dr. Pepper in the morning and then make sure to look away)
