Largest comeback I’ve ever watched a good portion of on TV.

Old record for me was the Alma Bowl in like 2016.

We should do weekend games for college basketball season when it comes around ... I'm already in that mode, lol.

I'd play.

Well, if it hadn't bounced off the OU player, it probably wouldn't have taken that funny bounce downfield that allowed them to recover.

If it bounced off like a half yard later though, call would have stood, and the #1 offense in football gets the ball with all momentum.

Sooner game gave me a heart attack. We did everything in our power to blow the game. Only 7 points of offense in the 2nd half (what happened to averaging a first down per play???) and our defense couldn't tackle anybody to save their danm lives after like the 1st quarter. Hard to believe we shut down Texas only 4 weeks ago.

yeah the committee is not gonna take that kindly lol

I remember when I was angry that we were ranked below 2 Pac 12 teams. Now I think it’s totally justified.

The ending to TCU @ OU sucked (due to refball), but that's fine. I expected to lose by 31 rather than 4.

I really have never paid much attention to TCU football, even when I went there (as they were on probation and bad most of my time there) but they really seem to have a huge void at QB.  I can take losing to OU or Baylor, losing to SMU is always inexcusable.

SMU is like actually pretty good this year though in their defense.

I'm so angry at this committee's anti-SEC bias.  A motivated Auburn or Alabama team would wipe the floor with teams like Penn State, Baylor, Utah, and Wisconsin.  That they are ranked above those SEC teams shows that the committee still doesn't understand that the top half of the SEC is miles above any other conference.  SEC teams shouldn't be penalized for playing each other.  It's just like the ACC in basketball most years- an under .500 team from the best conference is probably better than teams with good records from most major conferences.

Also, hot take- Texas A&M should be in the top 15-20 based on the fact that they haven't lost to anyone outside the committee's top 12 (or reality's top 10- playing it conservatively) and have crushed everyone else.

Considering Auburn barely beat Oregon, and Alabama's regression on defense and the fact that their best win is Texas A&M, it's hard to argue they'd wipe the floor with the said non-SEC teams. The SEC has five teams that are very good, yes, but the evidence just isn't there that they're on the same tier as say Baylor and Utah. There's a lot more parity in college basketball in general; the difference between a sixth place team and a second place team in any major league in that sport is small.
