Does anyone know why they gave the job to David Gregory? Chuck Todd was the best and most logical choice. He was Tim Russert's heir apparent, even inheriting the NBC/WSJ Poll survey.

I don't know if he'd be the greatest host, but he'd almost certainly be better than David Gregory. I really miss Tim Russert. He really was irreplaceable.

Chuck Todd is a better elections analyst; Gregory is a political button-pusher, and the latter is what is wanted for MTP.
