The fact that it passed without a single no vote is remarkable. Very surprising but in a good way. There were a number of abstentions on purpose and/or absent members.

I originally thought that this passed with every member voting for it but I forgot for a minute that we have 203 members, not 192.  Tongue  I was going to say that it would be very odd to have some of the liberal members voting for this (and we have some far left wingers, too).

A shame that not a single Pennsylvanian Senate Democrat is not a DINO.

I'm confused. What do you mean by that?

You need to read it a couple of times, I got a little mixed up as well.

You shouldn't use double negatives, people. Smiley

1) This was a State House resolution, not a State Senate resolution.

2) As I mentioned earlier, several people obviously abstained in protest (or we have an unusually high number of absences). There are plenty of very liberal members of the State House here.

Awesome. It turns out that ten members were excused for being absent and only one member present did not vote. He is a Democrat, of course. Kind of random for him to be the lone member to not vote. I expected a bunch of members from the Black Caucus to not vote along with some of the hardcore liberals like Babette Josephs and Mark Cohen. Very odd.
