After the media called that one election for Ernie Fletcher when the polls in western Kentucky weren't even closed yet, how can it be too early?

Perhaps I am a pessimist, but I am not getting a good feeling about this... :/

Uh, Murphy is winning now.

Is the DLC gonna be proud of themselves if Murphy loses?

Why did anyone even listen to those who said it was a good idea to appoint Hillary as Secretary of State?

You know that if Tedisco was leading by 65 votes, the media would just declare it for him now.

The lowest turnout tended to be in pro-Murphy or marginal counties.

Well isn't that suspicious.

Nonsense.  No one party controls the "machinery" (i.e. the county and state boards of election) in New York.

Then how do you explain what happened in '94?

A lot of the races in 1994 were not that close and the ones that were, Democrats generally won.

Um??? In 1994???

The Albany Project:

I'm hearing from a tipster in Washington County that, due to a reporting error on election night that has now been rectified, Scott Murphy just picked up a net of 198 votes. Says the tipster, the news "took the wind right out" of the Republican observers.

There's still thousands of absentee votes to count, but the bigger the cushion Murphy has before then the better.

This is huge news.

I think it's about time for Disco Duck to concede then.

Um, how is Tedisco now suddenly up 97 votes?

Because the GOP bosses are a bunch of election-rigging crooks.

Also, Disco Duck called up all the absentee voters and asked them who they voted for, so he knows which ballots to challenge.

Delaware County Absentees:
Murphy 139
Tedisco 119
Objections 9
Military/Overseas not counted 33

That shrinks Tedisco's lead to 4.

The absentees counted thus far came in 4.05% better for Murphy in Delaware than the machine count.

I think we're almost at the point where we can call the election for Murphy.
